Position: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
Required Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. in Science, Technology and Society or related disciplines
2. Preference may be given to candidates whose research specializes in Engineering Ethics and Culture or Technology Studies.
3. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in English.
Anticipated Start Date: February 1, 2022
Application Procedure:
Please submit the following documentation:
1. Current CV (including a list of publications)
2. Photocopies of university degrees (or evidence indicating a Ph.D. degree will be earned by the anticipated starting date)
3. Scholarly writing samples: dissertation and/or selected publications from the last five years
4. Syllabi of four proposed courses
a. Two for undergraduate level and two for graduate level, at least one of which should be related to Engineering Ethics and Culture
b. All courses should contain 18-week schedules and detailed descriptions of weekly readings
c. At least one of the four courses should be designed to be taught in English.
5. A research statement, including a future research plan (no more than 1,000 words).
6. Evidence of ability to teach in English, or supporting documentation of English proficiency (for non-English speakers).
7. Two recommendation letters.
All application materials other than recommendation letters should be combined as one PDF file labeled with the full name of the candidate and submitted through email.
